Storyteller
Bram’s third book, Storyteller, is his most personal and inspiring yet. Written over five years, this book recounts stories from the rest of his life along with some hard-earned insight and wisdom into the human experience. Inspiring in its equal doses of comedy and tragedy, Storyteller aims to affect readers by having them understand that to live a human life is, in itself, a miracle. To live in a human body on this planet in a universe amongst universes is, quite simply put, a miracle.
Each one of us is miraculous. And in keeping with that fact, if each of us is a miracle, then our stories are miraculous because they narrate the experience of the miracle of being. To share his own stories is to remind readers of their own, as the details of our lives may change, but the common experience of navigating life in a human body is shared. Storyteller is a call to commonality and unity, a book written to share stories and insight that would not otherwise be shared through more commonly accepted formats or media, and a tool to bring us all together because, after all, these stories may be written by one person, but they are essentially all of our stories.
“Life wisdom. Personal and psychological development. The collective human experience. Storyteller is all of these things intertwined, and told through stories from my life (so far!). What I set out to do with this book is to show how the act of storytelling shines a light on our common ground as we see ourselves reflected in its narratives. And while these stories are from my personal journey as a spiritual and psychological seeker, they can resonate with all of us as we connect with our own experiences and memories.”
