Yoga & Meditation Vacation in Meteora AND Paros, Greece

September 7-19, 2023

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of our annual Yoga & Meditation Vacation in Paros, Greece, 2023 will see us travel to another jaw-droppingly beautiful area of the country. Join us for this milestone event as we begin our journey in Athens for one night, after which we will make our way up to Meteora in Kalabaka. Meteora is considered to be one the Earth’s energetic vortexes, where the immense natural pillars and hill-like rounded boulders rise up from the ground in mythological proportions. Perched atop these rock formations are the centuries-old UNESCO World Heritage List monasteries, some of which are open for visiting.

Following our 3-night visit to Meteora, we will make our way back to Athens for one night, after which we will make our way over to our beloved home in Paros in the Cycladic Greek islands. Every day along our Greek odyssey will begin with a 90-minute practice (deep stretching/asana followed by meditation) to set the tone for the day ahead, followed by spending the rest of the day as you choose: hike around Meteora or visit a monastery, laze around the beach or poolside in Paros, take advantage of optional Greek cooking classes at our Paros hotel, or simply find a spot on the island to soak up all of its natural beauty.

In Meteora we will be staying at a beautiful hotel located at the foot of one of the majestic rock formations, and in Paros, as usual, we will be staying at a warm and welcoming family-run hotel, overwhelmingly rated as “Excellent” by TripAdvisor users, and minutes away from the beach. All rooms are renovated, spacious and comfortable, those in Paros with large balconies and stunning views of the sea and the typically Cycladic houses. In keeping with their environmental concerns, the hotel in Paros does everything from donate organic waste to farmers to cut electricity costs by sun-drying laundry. Recycling initiatives are in place, as are solar panels used to heat their hot water. Best of all, in Paros we’ll be fed mouth-watering, vegetarian-optional food prepared with love by our friend and loved one, Stella.

10-day Yoga & Meditation Vacation in Paros

September 12-22, 2023

For those of you who would prefer a full 10 days in Paros, I have not left you behind, as the group visiting Meteora will overlap with the group coming solely to Paros. Every day will start with a 90-minute class (deep stretch/yoga combined with guided meditation on the shore facing Naxos) followed by breakfast. The rest of the day will be yours to do whatever your heart desires: find a beach to enjoy, spend a few hours shopping in Naoussa or Paroikia, or lounge around the hotel pool. We will gather once again for dinner all together to close each day out. Included in the price is our annual boat tour around Paros and Antiparos, as well as a day trip to the smallest island in the Cyclades, Koufonisia.
